Legal Steps for a Perfect Wedding in Thailand:

Notification of Marriage: The initial step involves submitting a marriage notification at your local district office or amphur. This formalizes your intention to marry and is essential for both Thai and non-Thai couples.
Verification of Eligibility: Our seasoned legal team will assist you in verifying your eligibility to marry under Thai law. This involves ensuring you meet the legal age requirement (18 years old) and are not closely related to your partner.
Affidavit of Freedom to Marry: Non-Thai citizens need to obtain an affidavit of freedom to marry from their respective embassy or consulate in Thailand. This document certifies that you are legally free to marry. Your wedding consultant will assist in booking the Embassy appointment.
Translation and Notarization: All non-Thai documents must be translated into Thai and notarized for official use. Our experts handle this process to ensure accuracy and compliance. Your wedding consultant will arrange to meet you or collect documents from you from your embassy and will have them translated and certified by the MFA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
